The beginning of May saw Alcolin and the Italian embassy in Zimbabwe team up for an awareness initiative in the lead up to World Environment Day on the 5th of June. The initiative is aimed at creating awareness and action against plastic pollution in the region.

A group of students created a giant fish that was featured at the Harare International Festival of Arts as an environmental awareness project. Alcolin provided the necessary adhesives to keep the giant plastic fish in one piece as it travels around the country. 

Alcolin continues to do its part in South Africa as it moves to greener solutions in production, processes, and packaging.
