Alcolin is proud to be one of the sponsors of the 2018 SAICE bridge building competition. This competition is a great practical illustration of what a career in civil engineering might actually be like. The annual competition has participation from various schools in South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.

This year kicked off with the Western Cape leg held in Canal Walk shopping centre. Over 30 teams were present to show off their skills, armed with a few wooden dowels, string, Prestik, and of course our Alcolin Super Glue.

We were very impressed by the skills and creativity shown by the participants, constructing impressive bridges in all shapes and forms. In addition, huge congratulations to the finalists going to Tshwane for the finals in August, we know you will make your school and family proud!
