The 26 members of team Sibanye, have once again made history at Permoseal by achieving 1000 injury free days. Says Polymer Plant Supervisor, Denver Peterson “Its safety first, we watch each other’s backs and discuss safety issues on a daily basis.” Denver’s philosophy is always to put Safety first, then Housekeeping and then Production. He firmly believes that a safe environment that encourages good housekeeping leads to high levels of production and this shows in the teams achievements. Denver adds, “There are no if’s or but’s, we are now aiming for 1500 Injury Free Days.”
