Kids get crafty – with Alcolin!
In their second class, which has now grown to 11, the kids got to make their own salad forks, and boy, did they have fun!
They cut the fork teeth themselves and glued them down, using Alcolin Wood Glues, and then stained and oiled them. They were taught what the
difference is between the different types of wood glues, and are now even asking for the glues by name – says Milty Sauerman, founder of the
Training Academy.
Their next project will be to make a spoon, where they will be using a coping saw, spoke shave, carving chisels, cordless drills, sandpaper, etc.
And from all of us Alcolin – we wish them all the best with their future DIY projects!
