Surface Preparation

For best results, concrete floors should be clean, solid and properly prepared before applying epoxy floor paint. Direct application over an existing epoxy coating or old paint is not recommended. Previously painted surfaces should be mechanically abraded and all existing paint removed, with the floor prepared back to a clean, solid bare concrete surface before application. Proper floor preparation is essential for strong adhesion, a durable finish and long-term performance.
