There are numerous ways to enter and stand a chance to be one of the winners:
- Buy any Alcolin product, at any store in South Africa, take a photo of your till slip and WhatsApp it along with your name and surname to Alcolin on 073 043 1707.
- When you see an Alcolin Competition Display in certain stores, simply take a selfie in front of the display and submit it via Facebook or WhatsApp the photo, along with your name and surname to Alcolin.
- Share nostalgic photos, moments and stories of you and your family using any Alcolin product throughout the years on Alcolin’s Facebook page.
- Share photos to Alcolin’s Facebook page of recent DIY projects that you and your loved ones started, or completed using Alcolin products.

Terms & Conditions for Alcolin’s Consumer Competition
(1 October 2022 – 15 December 2022)
This competition is organised by Alcolin, a brand of Permoseal (Pty) Ltd (the “Organisers”) and is open to all South African citizens residing in the Republic of South Africa (a valid South African identity document is required), except directors, members, business partners, employees, sales agents, advertising agency staff, advisors or consultants of the Organisers, its associated companies, service providers and the immediate family members of all the foresaid (including, but not limited to, spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters).
By entering the competition all participants and prize-winners, agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the competition, which will be interpreted by the Organisers in their sole, absolute and unfettered discretion. The competition will be overseen and certified as set out in the Regulations to the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 of South Africa where after the Organisers’ decision regarding all matters relating to the competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
There are four (4) ways to enter the competition:
- Buy any Alcolin product, at any store in South Africa, take a photo of your till slip and WhatsApp it along with your name and surname to Alcolin on 073 043 1707.
- Take a selfie in front of an Alcolin Competition Display that will be present in certain stores, and submit it via Facebook or WhatsApp, along with your name and surname to Alcolin on 073 043 1707.
- Share nostalgic photos, moments and stories of you and your family using any Alcolin product throughout the years on Alcolin’s Facebook page.
- Share photos to Alcolin’s Facebook page of recent DIY projects that you and your loved ones started, or completed using Alcolin products.
Important: The till slip used to enter the competition must be retained as proof of purchase. The Organisers reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is in breach of these terms and conditions. Failure by the Organisers to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The competition runs from 1 October 2022 until 15 December 2022. A random draw conducted by the Organisers or a person appointed by the Organisers will take place on 25 January 2023 and only the winners will be notified by telephone no later than 72 hours after the draw, and thereafter confirmed in writing via email. The Organisers will endeavour to contact the winners on the cell phone number used to enter via WhatsApp. Winners who entered via Facebook will be contacted via Facebook Messenger and requested to provide a cell phone number. If, however, any winner cannot be reached after six (6) attempts have been made during business hours within a period of 72 hours for any reason whatsoever, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the competition rules.
In total, there will be forty five (45) winners selected by means of a lucky draw and the following prizes will be given away:
- 2 x Inverters
- 10 x Leatherman’s
- 10 x LED Lanterns
- 10 x 28-piece Toolsets
- 13 x Alcolin Product Hampers
All winners will need to identify themselves with a barcoded South African ID book and must have a South African address. The drawn winners, once contacted, will have 5 working days to forward all the required documentation to the Organisers, including but not limited to a certified copy of their South African ID. Winners must allow 4 – 6 weeks from the date of being contacted for the prize to be delivered.
The Organisers reserve the right to request that images are taken of the winners and be used for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without any further remuneration being made payable to the winner.
The Organisers shall have the right to terminate the competition immediately and without notice for any reason beyond its control. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers, its agents and staff.
Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by the rules.
