Create this minature garden in a few minutes with this stunning project. All it takes is a little glue, and a few old plates and bowls that you don’t use anymore. If you aren’t willing to part with any of your previous crockery, you can visit a nearby second-hand market and you’ll be bound to find something there.
There isn’t much to say about this project, and not many ways that you can go wrong, but here’s the best way we’ve found to do it:
1) Break the cap of the double-syringe and extrude equal amonts of Rapid Epoxy out. Mix them together until they have fully mixed – it should be one uniform colour. The glue works when the two parts form a chemical reaction and create a very strong bond, so if you haven’t mixed them properly, there is a chance that the glue may not dry completely and wil not form a strong bond.
2) Glue the two bowls to each other at their bases (as shown in the picture), and hold them together (or put something heavy on top of them) for 5 minutes. Do the same with the base of the side plate to one of the ends, and wait another 5 minutes. Finally, glue the dinner plate to the remaining bowl and leave it to dry before decorating as desired.
Top Tip: The warmer it is, the faster the epoxy will dry; and the colder it is, the longer it will take, so do it in the warmest time of day.
