This chunky boot stand is a great addition to any hallway. Keep the dirt off your floor and your area organised at the same time! It could also double up as extra shoe storage space in your cupboards or walk-in-closet. 

We’ve selected pine for this build as it is widely available and easier to chisel than other hard woods. And if you don’t have any old broomsticks to donate to the cause, replace them with something similar and make this your own. 

We’ve used Alcolin Ultra Wood Glue because it is more hard wearing and isn’t affected by water – so can be used outside without weakening the bond strength.
