Hike faises funds for HIV orphans

On Saturday 18 April 2009, Paul Jacobs, Permoseal’s Laboratory Manager, painfully hiked the Platteklip path up Table Mountain six times, in aid of charity. The eventful day was organised to raise funds for Masikulisane creche, who houses orphaned and HIV positive children. This is one exhausting climb, so not only was it courageous to do it six times on a cold and wet day, but Paul also succeeded in doing the first climb with his 7 month old baby, Kira, on his back. Well done Paul, we are all proud of your achievement and your immense care for children in our community.
