ALCOLIN CHEMICAL ANCHOR is an epoxy based, styrene free, high performance, rapid curing two part chemical anchoring system. It is designed as a fast curing, high strength fixing anchor for very high loads and critical fixings especially in corrosive environments and damp conditions.

It provides excellent primerless adhesion to natural stone, marble, slate, granite, brickwork, plaster, concrete, hollow walls, masonry, wood and steel. Specifically threaded steel rods made of zinc coated steel, stainless steel, high corrosion resistant stainless steel (HCR), or rebar.

It is fire resistant, has low shrinkage and is fast curing for rapid repair and installation work.

Balcony repairs, installation of pool ladders, safety barriers and hand rails.

Other Information

Will not bond to plastics e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon. For optimum strength, embedment depths must be within the range 4 diameters to 20 diameters. Not suitable for anchoring structures exposed to particularly aggressive conditions e.g. permanent, alternating immersion in seawater or the splash zone of seawater. Not recommended for overhead installations. For anchoring applications, concrete must be a minimum of 21 days old prior to anchor installation.

ALCOLIN MIX ‘N FIX QUIKWOOD® Epoxy Putty Stick is a fast-setting speciality polymer compound that mixes in just one minute to enable fast permanent repairs to wood. It also bonds metals, glass, concrete, ceramics, fibreglass and some plastics.

Each handy stick contains pre-measured portions of activator and base – no measuring or mixing tools are necessary. As the epoxy is mixed by hand, the two contrasting colours blend into one colour to indicate complete mixing. ALCOLIN QUIKPLASTIK is a hand-mixable, fast setting epoxy putty stick that forms a durable bond to most plastic types. Repair anyhing made of ABS, CPVC and PVC plastic.

After mixing, it forms a water resistant, high strength compound that can be moulded, wrapped around and used to build up and repair plastic components. Suitable for interior and exterior applications, it contains no solvents or VOC’s and will not shrink, crack or pull away.

After final cure, QuikPlastik can be drilled, sawed, machined, filed or painted.
